About Us

Miles Street Salvage LTD is a fully licensed end-of-life vehicle treatment facility based in Oldham , Lancashire, We are a family run business with a passion for recycling who work tirelessly to produce as little waste as possible from our vehicles to maintain our standards and do our bit for the environment. We currently hold a full environmental standard permit for the treatment of end-of-life vehicles, a full waste carriers license and are a registered VAT company. We are a company specialising in all makes and models, We sell anything and everything from Engines & Gearbox’s to Interiors, Alloys, Headlights and Stereo’s, anything you require don’t hesitate to contact us on via eBay or call you.

Step 2: Provide Vehicle Details

Share your car’s registration, your location, and a brief description of its condition to receive an instant quote.

Step 3: Receive Your Quote

Based on your vehicle’s description, you’ll quickly see its value. Once you’re satisfied, confirm your payment details, and we’ll arrange a collection date and time that suits you.

Step 4: Schedule Pickup

On the scheduled pickup day, we’ll call to ensure the timing is convenient. After your confirmation, a friendly Miles Street Salvage driver will take charge of the collection process. If you prefer, you can also arrange to drop off the vehicle with us.

Step 5: Documentation

If you have your V5 logbook, provide it to our driver before they take your vehicle. If you lack the required paperwork, notify the DVLA in advance and bring a valid form of photo ID.

Step 6: Payment

Once we’ve received your vehicle and paperwork, we’ll promptly transfer your payment to your bank account on the same day.

Miles Street Salvage – Terms and Conditions of Sale

Miles Street Salvage (MSS) strives to supply only the best quality used car parts. All of our parts are carefully selected, tested prior to removal, and inspected thoroughly in our workshop before being added to stock.

Guarantee & Warranty

We guarantee that any part supplied by Miles Street Salvage is free from defects at the time of sale. In the event a part is found to be faulty due to defective materials or workmanship during the agreed guarantee period, we will offer a replacement part free of charge. This guarantee covers parts only, with no cover for labour charges or issues arising from incorrect fitting or ancillary components.

Please note:

  • Our warranties are unlimited mileage, parts only.

  • All guarantees apply to the part itself, not to any ancillaries supplied with it (e.g., sensors, gaskets, belts), which are included free of charge and not covered under warranty.

  • The guarantee begins on the date the part is ordered.

Returns Policy

We aim to provide excellent customer satisfaction. However, if you need to return a part:

  • Faulty Items:
    You must report any faults within 2 days (48 hours) of receiving the item. If the part is confirmed as faulty due to our error, we will issue a refund or offer a replacement if preferred.

  • Non-Faulty Items:
    Returns for non-faulty parts are accepted within 14 days of purchase and are eligible for a credit note only. Returned items must be in their original condition.

  • Handling Charges:
    Any correctly supplied parts returned (non-faulty) are subject to a 25% handling fee, which may be waived at the manager’s discretion.

  • Distance Selling:
    For online or distance sales, private consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period. The cost of returning the item lies with the customer. Please note that delivery charges are non-refundable.

  • Return Process:
    Items must be checked at the time of collection or delivery. If damaged, you must refuse delivery or collection and notify us immediately. Once goods are signed for, we cannot claim for transit damage, and no refund can be issued on that basis.

Exclusions – What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The guarantee does not cover failure or damage resulting from:

  • Incorrect fitting or workmanship errors.

  • Faulty or failed ancillary components (e.g., radiators, water pumps, sensors).

  • Use in motorsport or off-road applications.

  • Malicious damage, fire, or theft.

  • Inadequate lubrication or coolant levels.

  • Tampering, disassembly, or modification of the part.

Exchange Units (if applicable)

Some parts are sold on an exchange basis. In such cases, the original unit must be returned within 14 days. Failure to do so will result in a refundable 50% surcharge.

General Terms

  • This guarantee is valid within the UK mainland only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Vehicle recovery, hire cars, loss of income, or other indirect costs are not covered under any circumstances.

  • These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
